Dr Feras has an overall 14 years of experience in Internal medicine and Rheumatology. Prior to joining NMC, he was working at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) Abu Dhabi in partnership with Mayo clinic as Rheumatology Specialist Fellow, for three and a half years, during this period he completed his Rheumatology Fellowship training and obtained a Specialty Certificate in Rheumatology (SCE) from the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom and the British Society of Rheumatology.

Dr Feras graduated with Bachelor of medicine and surgery (MBBS) in 2007 and then he did his postgraduate studies of public health and epidemiology (MPH), University of Wollongong, Australia in 2010.

In 2011, Dr Feras pursued his postgraduate residency training in Internal Medicine and worked as Senior House officer at Rashid hospital–Dubai (DHA) and became board certified in Internal medicine from the Arab board of health specialization in 2017.

He also joined University Hospital Sharjah as a Senior Specialist - Internal Medicine and Adjunct Clinical Faculty at University of Sharjah Medical College in 2018 for three years.

Dr Feras is a Member of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), Emirates Medical Association (EMA) and Emirates Society of Rheumatology (ESR).
