Dr Hazem Al Momani is an esteemed Laparoscopic, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeon with a wealth of experience and expertise in Upper GI and Bariatric Surgeries. He completed his Bachelors’ degree in Jordan in 2001 before embarking on surgical training in the UK. As a testament to his dedication to advancing his skills, Dr Hazem was awarded a prestigious fellowship in advanced Oesophago-Gastric surgery at the renowned Cancer Institute Hospital in Tokyo, Japan. This invaluable experience provided him with extensive knowledge in the surgical treatment of oesophago-gastric cancers.
Driven by a commitment to excellence, Dr Hazem pursued further specialisation and obtained a fellowship in advanced Upper GI and Bariatric Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. With his diverse background and expertise, he served as a Consultant Upper GI and Bariatric Surgeon in the UK and held the esteemed position of Senior Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Swansea University, School of Medicine, UK.
Dr Hazem Al Momani's contributions extend beyond his clinical practice. He is actively involved in the medical community as the Chair of the Communication Committee for the Middle East and North Africa Chapter of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO-MENAC) and is a valued member of the Communication Committee of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO).
