Dr Ibrahem Siam completed his MBBCh degree with Honours in 1992 from the prestigious Cairo University, Kasr-Eleni Hospital. He completed his residency and post graduate study in the same hospital. Thereafter, he moved to the UK and continued his medical practice in the Royal Bournemouth and Ninewell Hospitals. Following this he moved to the UAE where he worked with the Ministry of Health. He joined the NMC hospital in 2012. Dr Siam holds the position of Associate Professor at NRC, Cairo, Egypt and he is an MRCP (UK) - PACES examiner. He has participated in many prominent research studies and has published several international publications. He has also been a speaker at many international forums and is a member of multiple international societies. His fields of interest are Diabetology, Thyroid diseases, Obesity and all aspects of Endocrinology. Qualifications: * Specialty Certificate in Endocrinology and Diabetes from the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK, The Association of the British Clinical Diabeticians, Diabetes UK and the Society of Endocrinology * Membership of the Royal College of Physicians, MRCP (UK) * Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh * Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE) * Fellow of the American college of physicians (FACP) * Doctorate and Master Degrees, Egypt Dr Siam speaks English and Arabic.
