Dr. Josephine did undergraduate and Postgraduate Medical Studies in Mumbai and London. 

Her work experience includes working for 34 years at the Latifa Maternity and Paediatric Hospital, a leading tertiary care centre for Obstetrics and Gynaecology. 

She has also worked at The International Modern Hospital in Dubai for 4 years. 

Dr. Josephine is an Associate Professor at the Dubai Medical College for Girls and a member of Examination Faculty at the Dubai Medical College, and she was also a Co-Director for Residency training at the Latifa Hospital.

Dr. Josephine was also a Vice Chairman for the Mother-Friendly Hospital Initiative at the Latifa Hospital in Dubai, promoting Natural childbirth practices and reducing the rate of interventions including Cesarean sections. 

Dr. Josephine likes to spread community awareness for women’s health issues by doing talks and writing newspaper articles.
