Dr Karvendhan Ramasamy received his MBBS from Madras Medical College, Chennai, India in 2002. In 2006, he completed his master’s degree in Paediatrics from University College of Medical Science India and thereafter he completed his doctorate in neonatology from Institute of Child Health, Madras Medical College, India. Dr Karvendhan started his medical practice as a Senior Resident in Paediatrics at University College of Medical Science and thereafter worked at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education , Research (JIPMER), where he gained extensive experience in neonatal and paediatric intensive care unit. And worked in Madras Medical College as a Paediatric Neonatologist. Dr Karvendhan’s special interest includes resuscitation and management of extreme low gestation age new-borns , their neurodevelopment follow up, neonatal ventilation – gentle ventilation/ lung protective strategies, optimal nutrition of preterm infants, family centered NICU care. He possesses exceptional clinical skills , can perform invasive/ non-invasive ventilation of New born babies, parental nutrition long lines, echocardiogram , cranial ultrasound in critically ill babies. He likes interactive with parents and counsels them whenever required
