Dr. Lathika graduated from Delhi University in 1987 and completed her post-graduation in Anesthesiology and ICU from the same university in 1991. With nearly 31 years of experience in the medical field, she have a special interest in trauma and neuro-critical care. She also have a certification in Acupuncture and pain management and managed a pain clinic for three years in Delhi.

Her career journey includes working as a Senior Registrar in Anaesthesia and ICU at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia hospital for five years until 1996, where they focused on regional anesthesia, labor analgesia, and transportation of critical patients. She then worked as a specialist in Anaesthesia and ICU in various hospitals under MOH in Libya until 1999.

Subsequently, she worked at the Royal Hospital in Muscat, Oman, for three years before coming to the UAE in 2005. In Dubai, she joined the Trauma Center at Rashid Hospital, gaining extensive experience in trauma ICU for five years until 2010. Afterward, she joined the ICU of Al Ain Hospital, assisting in setting up a 16-bed ICU.

From 2013, she have been associated with NMC ProVita, contributing to the establishment of the new Al Ain facility and the new LTCU ward in NMCRH. Her interests lie in critical care, with a particular focus on trauma and pediatrics. Outside of work, she enjoy reading, traveling, and interior decoration.
