Dr. Khan has over 18 years of specialized experience in Podiatry.
Dr. Khan earned her Bachelor of Science in Podiatry (BSc Hons) from Glasgow Caledonian University, in the United Kingdom in 2005. Continuing her education, she completed a Master of Science MSc degree in Theory of Podiatric Surgery from Glasgow Caledonian University, UK, in 2019.
Prior to joining Healthpoint she served as a Podiatrist with the Diabetes team at NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah, and as a Podiatrist at the Canadian Medical Centre, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Dr. Khan actively participates in the UAE-wide Working Group for the Management of Diabetic Foot Disease and Prevention, aimed at alleviating the burden of diabetic foot disease in the country. Additionally, she volunteers as a support member for the Special Olympics, UAE, and has engaged in various training programs alongside them.
Dr. Khan’s scope of practice primarily focuses on diabetic foot care and management, with a strong emphasis on limb salvage and amputation prevention to mitigate the risks of lower limb amputations. She is dedicated to empowering others through education to improve health outcomes while preserving individuals' mobility.
