Dr Sanjay Rathi is UK-certified Consultant Paediatrician Endocrinologist with extensive experience of managing all aspects of Diabetes and Endocrine disorders in children. He is well versed in latest treatment options and technology in the field of type 1 diabetes, obesity, growth, puberty and the ongoing research. He understands the complexity in managing long term conditions such as diabetes and offers compassionate and individualised care plan to each family. He has holistic approach in managing a child and supporting parents.

Dr Sanjay completed his undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications from Nagpur University, India. He pursued further studies in UK, and passed DCH from University of Leeds, MRCPCH and FRCPCH (UK). He was awarded CCST (Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training), UK in 2008.

Prior to joining NMC, he has worked as Consultant Paediatrician with expertise in diabetes and endocrinology for 14 years in UK and last 2 years at King’s College Hospital London, Dubai.

He is enthusiastic teacher, and has been actively involved in teaching, training of medical students, junior doctors and nursing staffs. He has contributed to teaching and training at various levels.

He has participated as lead health care professional and guest speaker in the Diabetes Summer camps organised by Diabetes UK for children with diabetes and their families.

He remains committed to excellence and ensures that every child and family receive the highest quality of care. He provides personalised care as he believes every child is unique and special.
