Dr. Tamer Abdelgawad Achievements:

• Handled efficiently a huge number of U/S cases (around 600 cases/month), in various systems of the body; e.g. abdominal U/S, pelvic U/S and small parts U/S (e.g. thyroid, salivary glands, scrotal, etc.), along with Doppler studies; including arterial & venous Doppler, upper & lower limbs, in addition to Doppler study for the neck vessels.
• Supervised, directed & gave reports, for the different CT techniques, of the various systems of the body, including head & neck, abdomen & pelvis, along with the special techniques e.g. CT pulmonary angiography…etc.
• Handled different MRI protocols, including neurological, musculoskeletal, abdomen & pelvis, along with special MR techniques, e.g. MR angiography, MRCP…etc; supervising the operator & directing him on the essential sequences that need to be chosen according to the chief complain of each patient, and then giving reports.
• Worked efficiently through different U/S, CT & MRI machines, along with various RIS & PACS software.
• Conducted family group sessions for families to teach them the risk and benefits of the different diagnostic radiological procedures.
