Dr Yoosuf Shan is one of the most contemporary Orthopaedic surgeons with more than 16 years of experience in complex Orthopaedic and spine surgeries. He has done his MMBS in one of the best medical colleges in India (Thrissur Government Medical College) and completed his Masters in Orthopaedic Surgery in the apex institute in Malaysia (University Malaya). He has also been trained by world renowned spine and neurosurgeons in France in 2013 and 2017, in addition to training by spine surgeons in Malaysia in 2010 and 2011.

He has been the leading Orthopaedic and spine surgeon in the Maldives before he moved to UAE in 2022. Working in the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, which is the main referral centre in the Maldives, he has done more than 1000 major spine surgeries in addition to other Orthopaedic surgeries.
