Ms. Cicin Maryia Jacob is a Clinical Dietitian licensed by the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi. She obtained her Master’s in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics with First Rank from Alphonsa College, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala in 2018. She completed her Bachelor’s in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics with First Rank from the same college in 2016. Cicin has more than 2 years of experience in the field of Dietetics and worked as Clinical Dietitian in Aster Medcity Kerala, India. She has also undergone internship in the Dietetics Department of Medical Trust Hospital, Ernakulam, Kerala, India. She has participated and presented posters in various International and National Seminars, Conferences, and workshops. She also keeps herself updated in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics. She was a part of various community nutrition programs by imparting nutritional awareness among the public. Her major areas of interests are Lifestyle management, Weight management, Medical Nutrition Therapy for diabetes, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Renal Diseases, Liver Diseases, Cardiovascular Diseases, Women’s health and nutrition during pregnancy and lactation, enteral & parenteral nutrition. She is a member of Indian Dietetic Association (IDA) and Indian Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (IAPEN). She speaks English, Malayalam, Hindi, and Tamil.
