Description

Dr Sunil Kumar Garg has obtained his MBBS from Dr Sampurnanand Medical College, Jodhpur under the University of Rajasthan. He later obtained his MD in Internal Medicine from the S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur under the same university. He obtained a fellowship in Critical Care from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in 2005. Dr Sunil has 25 years of experience in Critical Care medicine, acute Medicine & Internal Medicine. He started his professional journey as a Senior Resident at DDU Hospital, New Delhi. He then moved to the Department of Critical care Medicine at Sanjay Gandhi postgraduate institute, Lucknow as a Senior Resident which was the first standalone department of critical care medicine in India. In 2003, Dr. he joined full time, medical council of India recognized Fellowship of National Board of Examination in Critical Care at Escorts Hospital in Delhi, India. He became an associate consultant in the department of critical care at Max Hospital, New Delhi, India. Thereafter he joined Geetanjali Medical College Hospital at Udaipur, India as head of Critical Care and Assistant Professor of Medicine. Then, prior to joining NMC Healthcare, Dr Sunil was the Head of the Department of Critical Care at Sarvodaya Hospital, Sector 8 in Faridabad, India. Dr Sunil has a European Diploma in Intensive Care from the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine. He obtained his First part in 2008 from Switzerland and second part in 2012 from the UK. In addition to critical care, he obtained speciality certification in Acute medicine from the United Kingdom in 2016. Dr Sunil has dual licensing of Dubai health authority to his credit. In addition to critical care medicine, he has internal medicine licensing as well. Dr Sunil has a keen interest in Academic activities. He has several publications in national and international journals. He has several breakthrough articles on COVID-19 and a few seminal publications. His publications are available in the National medical library. He is the author of several books in critical care, and he owns a youtube channel to spread knowledge on critical care subjects for youngsters. He has a special interest in managing critically ill medical, poisoning, trauma and ventilatory patients. Dr Sunil has attended several courses, conferences, and workshops and continues to do so to stay updated in his chosen field. Dr Sunil is fluent in Hindi and English.
